Use Water For The Flow Of Life
I’m at the lake …
You’ve probably heard this phrase from me before, mostly when I’m working on writing my books. But this time is different. I’m sitting in our office on Lake Starnberg and still, I can not quite grasp that I’ve landed here after my many moves in recent years.
Maybe you’ve heard about my relocations through downtown Munich. Somehow, I always got what I focused on. Whether I thought up a cheap, shared space or my own office with a large space for teaching… whatever I envisioned always showed up.
I spent a lot of time in my home office, which wasn’t so bad, but I missed the feeling of connection to other people. The exchanges with others during the workday and simply the feeling of waking up and driving to the office.
I finally became set on having an office on the lake. Maybe a bold goal, but for me, it was crystal clear that it had to be the Lake Starnberg. I wanted a lake view, I wanted to smell the water and feel I have it in my immediate vicinity. Oh and above all, the space needed to be affordable.
One of the first and most important principles I learned from my Feng Shui masters is that a house or office overlooking the water, whether sea, lake or river, is ALWAYS favorable for well-being and prosperity.
Well, water is life! Not true? Combine rain and sun, create a rainbow – a miracle of nature. Feng Shui means wind and water. So the Qi, which ideally carries the energy of water and thus the prosperity in the area. In the philosophy of Feng Shui, the flow of water is associated with the flow of life and prosperity. In addition, a water view is inspiring and unrestricted. The vastness opens up as if the world opens up for you.
Now, spaces on the lake are highly sought after, they’re hard to come by and are among the most expensive on the market. Does that mean you have to go without the beneficial effects of water?
No way!!! Of course, I can not conjure a lake in front of you, but you can easily place a water feature or a fountain in front of the house (please always make sure that the water flows toward the house), you can also set up an indoor fountain (please pay attention to this and don’t put the well facing south). If this is too complicated for you, you can always rely on the power of pictures. In my consultations, I highly recommend working with photos. Images evoke emotions and feelings associated with memories.
A quick and easy way to get the power of the water into your living and working space is to hang a water picture on the inside of your front door. (In your office it can also be the background image of your screen). Then every day you can see a lake, waterfall or the sea before you leave your home. If this image is associated with positive memories, then that memory will create positive emotions that enhance your positive aura. Over time you will feel more and more inspired. Try it, it’s such a simple thing, but it can change your life …
Now the question is, how do you choose the “right” picture?
We all know the saying, “a picture is worth 1000 words.” Before I describe the ideal picture to you, take a look at the following image, which I took …
Do you like it? You know what? It’s my gift to you. Just click on this link and download the image. You can print it out or use it as wallpaper for your computer. Use it and let yourself be inspired…
